It has a battery back-up in case of a power failure. It has 10, 12, and 15 pitch selection. Features 1, 1.5, and 2 line spacing for different formatting preferences. Comes with an optional standard dictionary and spell check. The Satellite 40 can also be connected to a computer using the optional PC interface. Handles paper as wide as 11.5".
