DESC: This workbook provides high school students with activities from algebra to calculus that use Texas Instruments TI InterActive! software. TI InterActive! is software for the PC that combines a word processor, a spreadsheet, a web browser and the features of both the TI-89 and TI-83 graphing calculators. This book provides detailed instructions for analysis of functions including linear, exponential, quadratic and periodic. Additionally, the functions are used to model data collected from the Internet. The book provides 15 different activities that utilize different features of TI InterActive! Polar graphing, parametric graphing, spreadsheets, and calculus topics are activities included. Each activity has a set of teacher notes that give answers and suggestions for student success. Many of the activities are designed for student reports. Any of the activities can be adapted for that purpose if the teacher so desires.
