DESC: The CASTLE WOLFENSTEIN series has been around since the dawn of PC games, and there's a reason for its incredible staying power: It's good! This chapter (released on both the Xbox and PlayStation 2) is set in WWII, and casts you as an American soldier behind enemy lines. Your task is to infiltrate the heart of Nazi Germany, rooting out and putting an end to the plans of the nefarious Third Reich. Of course (as series fans already know), you'll have to battle much more than Nazis: Undead Teutonic Knights and hordes of Nazi genetic experiments will do their best to deter you throughout the multiple levels of brutal combat as well. The game goes well out of its way to deliver photo-realistic character models, detailed environments, and better AI than you can possibly imagine. Priding itself on revolutionary visual effects and a thrilling story, RETURN TO CASTLE WOLFENSTEIN plays out something like an epic adventure filmwith you in the lead role.
