DESC: The USB signals going in and out of the cable are buffered to assure signal quality and the meeting of the USB's electrical and timing specifications. Using passive cables for the purpose of extending over the allowed maximum of 16ft will result in signal errors and is not recommended. The USB Repeater allows any USB device to be extended by an additional 80ft by serially connecting 16 feet cables. The USB Repeater acts as a transparent USB Hub and buffers all downstream and upstream data traffic. Both Low-speed and High-speed devices will function equally well with this cable.
