DESC: The Meade 70AZ-AR is a high performance 70mm refractor telescope ideally suited to the beginning astronomer or terrestrial observer. The rings of Saturn, satellites of Jupiter, and hundreds of Moon craters are only a sampling of what can be observed. The Meade 70AZ-A includes an altazimuth mount with a slow-motion control in vertical and rack-and-pinion focuser. The coated, achromatic (color-corrected) objective lens yields sharp, clear images for viewing both astronomical and terrestrial subjects.
