DESC: MTXs RoadThunder Subwoofers were designed from start to finish at the MTX acoustic research labs. The line consists of both 10" and 12" models available with both single and dual voice coils. A new black carbon fiber look to the cone makes these woofers really stand out and look tough. The next most obvious feature is the double row of stitching that binds the cone to the surround fortifying the structural integrity of the woofer. The basket is painted bright fire engine red, a feature that makes the RoadThunder subs look great mounted in either direction. Both the 10" and 12" models feature 1 ½" voice coils, nickel plated compression terminals, insulated tinsel leads, poly-cones and dust caps and foam surrounds. Both are ideal for use in small sealed, vented or bandpass enclosures.
