Both the satellite tuner and the integrated off-air tuner are compatible with SD and HD signals. The TUDP811 is compatible with all four popular standard and high definition video signals currently in use. HD connectivity is provided by a DVI output and HD component video outputs. If you're hooked up to an HD compatible TV and watch SD programming, the SD signal is automatically upconverted to HD. S-Video and composite A/V connections are also provided for hooking up to a standard definition TV.
