DESC: CM Multipurpose. The new CM5MP and CM6MP are designed for utility and flexibility and excel as general purpose speakers in bedrooms, dens or living rooms. Both speakers feature a talc-filled polypropylene woofer with a treated foam rubber surround, a 5-1/4 on the CM5MP and a 6-1/2 on the CM6MP respectively. Both models feature a 3/4 ultra-wide dispersion Kaladex(R) tweeter housed in a custom pivoting enclosure. The tweeter can pivot up to 20 degrees within its mount allowing for perfect alignment of the high frequencies. CM Multipurpose loudspeakers are both moisture and UV resistant which allows for a wider range of applications including showers and protected outdoor patios. Each model features Niles patented two-piece, no-strip speaker wire terminal which reduces installation time.
