DESC: The DL380 Packaged Cluster with MSA1000 combines the power and reliability of the ProLiant DL380 G3 server with the high performance and scalability of the MSA1000 storage system. Each of the two DL380 G3 Servers in this model features one 2.8GHz Intel Xeon processor (upgradeable to dual), 512KB L2 cache, 1GB PC2100 ECC DDR SDRAM (upgradeable to 6GB), two NC7781PCI-X Gigabit NICs with Wake On LAN, Smart Array 5i controller, a 24x (max speed) CD-ROM drive, an integrated ATI Rage XL video controller with 8MB SDRAM and one Modular Smart Array with fourteen 1" drive bays. The MSA1000 combines the array controller shelf and the drive shelf, which holds up to fourteen 1" universal disk drives in a single 4U rackmount cabinet. More storage can be easily deployed with the addition of up to two HP StorageWorks MSA30 disk enclosures with space for forty-two drives giving maximum storage capacity of 6TB (when using the new 146GB drives).
