With the addition of a slicing/shredding disc, this unit can also slice potatoes or shred carrots for salad or saute. A real timesaver is the continuous feed chute, which lets you go on chopping long after the work bowl would have reached capacity. This unit comes with a clear 3-cup capacity work bowl, cover with feed tube and continuous processing chute, chopping blade, and slicing/shredding disc. Food can be processed directly in the work bowl if desired or be directed through the chute into a waiting bowl. Perfect for small amounts of breadcrumbs, cookie crumbs, garlic, or herbs, the ShortCut has two speed control buttons (high/on and low/pulse), which allow you to determine the correct degree of processing.
