The bracket arm is hinged, so you can adjust to your heart's content and get the unit out of direct sunlight.To attach the suction cup to a glass surface, simply hold it up to the surface, then press the small leaver at the back of the suction cup.Included with this mount is a battery cover case which has a male locking connection to join your eTrex unit to the mount.
