DESC: The JUMPSTART series has long been a parental favorite throughout its many PC installments, and now the fun and learning come to the Game Boy Color. Recommended for kids aged four and up (seven-year-olds are likely the oldest age group that might get any benefit), this title challenges young gamers to help a mother pterodactyl out of a tough predicament. It seems the venerable dinosaur has lost her precious eggs, and she'll have to overcome a series of obstacles in order to recover them. Kids will be challenged to master a number of activities that require recognition of colors, memory skills, an understanding of patterns, and more. What makes the game tremendously beneficial is its variety of skill levels, allowing for tougher challenges as its players master the more elementary ones.
