DESC: These touching tales from C.S. Lewis have been brought to the screen on numerous occasions, but these BBC productions from the 1980s are among the most faithful adaptations of the great author's works. THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE follows four siblings--Peter (Richard Dempsey), Susan (Sophie Cook), Edmund (Jonathan R. Scott), and Lucy (Sophie Wilcox)--who discover the enchanted land of Narnia during a game of hide-and-seek. PRINCE CASPIAN & THE VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER finds the young friends journeying back to Narnia a few years after their first trip, where they aid Prince Caspian (Jean Marc Perret) in defeating his uncle Miraz. This installment also sees Edmund, Lucy, and their cousin Eustace (David Thwaites) heading off on an epic voyage aboard Caspian's ship, the Dawn Treader. Finally, THE SILVER CHAIR centers on Eustace, who is sent to Narnia with a friend, and asked to locate the whereabouts of Caspian's son, Rilian (Richard Henders).
