DESC: Thunder6000 Convertibles are one of the most flexible ways that you'll find to add superior musicality and accurate staging to your car audio system. The front stage in car audio refers to the ability of the listener to visualize the location of the performers and instruments on "stage" during a live performance. It's the front speakers that recreate an accurate front stage experience. MTX Audio calls the Thunder6000 speakers "convertibles," but they ain't no ragtops. You can install the T6.5 as a coaxial with the tweeter mounted inside the midbass cone, or you can remove the tweeter and convert them to separate components. The tweeter on the convertibles is a sonically pure, 19 mm PEF dome, with a ferrofluid cooled neodymium magnet. In any configuration, the tweeter swivels, and when it converts to a separate tweeter, you can mount it using the included flush or surface mount accessories.
