DESC: For the 2000 model year, Chevrolet has removed the RS model trim from the Cavalier lineup. Charged with a new emphasis on exterior styling, Chevrolet has added such exterior features as body-colored fascias on all models, sporty new taillights and forward-lighted headlamp lenses. Other exterior additions include 16-inch aluminum wheels (Z24 coupe) and two bold new colors - Dark Colorado Green and Ultra Silver Metallic. New standard safety features were created to appeal to Chevrolets large female consumer market. The most noteworthy of these features are four-wheel ABS, battery-rundown protection and child security door locks.
